Las Lajas coffee is produced in Sabanilla, Alajuela from 4,260 to 5,250 feet above sea level, focusing on honey and natural processes’ micro-lots.
The owners, Francisca Cubillo and Oscar Chacon are in charge of keeping the tradition of artisanal coffee production. With responsible social and environmental practices, the farm and micromill has a Regenified certification tier 5, which means that the farm not only protects and respects the environment, but also creates an increase in payroll from 5 to 15 workers, an important social local impact.
